Test Drive!
So are you ready to hit the streets of Los Santos and get familiar with the area? Let eyefind.info give you some tips on places to check out! If you're curious about how to get around, learn more from the WTF?, Welcome to Hell, and the World.

The first place we recommend for your tour is Mt. Gordo.

Mt. Gordo is a quiet, serene location with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Many hikers visit here, some enjoy the serene location for yoga, and some just enjoy the sight of the lovely El Gordo Lighthouse. Mt. Gordo has been witness to a tragic past, however. The beautiful wife of former stuntman and now politician Jock Cranley fell from a cliff, later dying of her injuries. While the death of Jolene Cranley-Evans was ruled accidental, some people believe that she was murdered by her husband and that her ghost still haunts the mountain.

But that seems unlikely, doesn't it?

Del Perro Pier is a fantastic location for people that visit San Andreas with their families, or just want to take their sweetheart out on a nice date. There are food stands and carts and it's not far from Vespucci Beach, where there is a strip of stores.

Mostly it's good times, good sun, the lovely sound of the ocean, and a lot of people with a lot of money in one place.

If Vespucci beach is too rich for your blood, then Strawberry might do the trick. Strawberry is a lower class area of Los Santos, frought with gang violence between the Ballas and the Families. There are strip clubs such as the Vanilla Unicorn. But at least the place is cheaper than the rest of the crap in this stupid city, right? Right.

Or just visit wherever the hell you want. What are we, the pigs? No, we're just your helpful email service! And we promise N.O.O.S.E. can not read your emails, despite what conspiracy theorists claim. We're completely safe.

"I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere," Narvin said to himself from the driver's seat of his car. He glanced around. Yes, the airport was nowhere near. Dammit.

And then, as he was stopped at the light, someone with a gun was opening his car door and yelling at him. Dammit.

[It was easy getting a job at one of the little restaurants at the beach, and Gabriela is liking it so far. It's sunny, warm, and very much like the best of Miami. She hears of a place called Vice City that's very much like it. She might go there one day, to see how similar they are. She doesn't have enough money to try for that right now.]

[She flinches at the sound of gunfire outside, though. It's a natural reaction- most of the people in the restaurant are afraid and they back away from the door. As natural an occurrence as violence has been here, people do still have a sense of self preservation. But not many of them have her macabre fascination.]

[During the rush out, she leaves more slowly, looking at the dead body. It's a scrutinizing look. A little afraid? But a lot interested. She wants to know what happened, and from the abandoned gun and the weapon he's holding she can almost see it. She can even hear the wail of sirens as the perpetrator is being chased away.]

[Then the paramedics drive up and she gets far out of the way. At least she got to see it this time. She hasn't seen anything like that since she was about seven, maybe? Outside her grandmother's little Colombian bakery.]

Niko has settled into a more quiet life, thankfully. For a while he drove a cab for Roman, because he needed the extra help. But he couldn't stand to be near at least one of the other drivers and grew completely intolerant of his presence. He did have the power to complain to Roman, to get him fired, but there was still something in Niko that felt guilty about depriving another immigrant such as himself of respectable job. The man was an asshole, but not guilty of much more, so ultimately Niko had decided to work for someone else he... sort of... respected? Liked. Maybe a little like. Was entertained by? More accurate.

Brucie Kibbutz had become famous, and while Niko thought the use of Bull Shark Testosterone was reprehensible (or at least was probably causing a plague of itty bitty balls nationally) it left a very lucrative delivery job opening for him. Niko could get packages to drop points fast, people needed them immediately, and since it was fairly legal work (and something he could do with a fake American ID) he travelled out to Los Santos to start his new job.

Niko was waiting outside of the pharmacy for some boxes to be loaded into the trunk of his car. He rolled his eyes and waited for the delivery man, but his senses were primed as usual. Despite his change of occupation, while it was "quieter" he was no less paranoid about being attacked during transport.

But they were taking their sweet time counting things out, as pharmacists tended to do, so he just looked around at the people standing around here and there outside. Either for anything unusual or... he didn't fucking know, just something to look at.

OOC: Made Niko's excuse for being in Los Santos working again for Brucie, but for mostly legal things. Open to him just meeting people or having someone else Brucie hired to make the route with him.

I wouldn't go any further if I were you.

[If you just happen to be wandering up the path to the top of MT. Gordo late at night -- a little past eleven, you'll be stopped by someone sitting on a rock along the side of said pathway, browsing something on his phone. When he looks up from the screen, the sinister looking scar over his right eye becomes visible. Don't worry, he's not a mugger.]

Jock Cranely's dead wife likes to hang out at the top around this time, and she's not really friendly, if you know what I mean.

[Honestly, Gary had just been waiting for someone, and decided what better way to kill the time than to try and scare people? And so far he's managed to thwart quite a few people from going further. And a couple who did came running back down minutes later, probably so chicken shit they convinced themselves they heard something. He doesn't believe the rumors himself -- he didn't believe the ones at Bullworth either. He just likes to spread them.]

((ooc: Feel free to also have your character be the one he's waiting for and see him harassing poor tourists and what-not.))
